Course Description:
The Mud Run is a 5K (3.1 mi) race through the woods surrounding Run
Village park and behind the Armed Forces Reserve Center. The run
features numerous obstacles constructed to U.S. Marine Corps
Standards. The obstacles are duplicates of the ones Marines use for
physical fitness training, just with a lot of "mud". The South Bend Fire
department will hose you down close to the finish line. Showers are on
site so bring a change of clothes with you.
Awards:
Awards will be given to the 1st person/team to cross the finish line from
each category. Each runner will receive a medal for running the event
and for helping make a child's Christmas a little brighter.
Volunteers: We are looking for volunteers to help with registration,
monitor course and more! Email us
